Maximum RPM

I just purchased a 2001 SX700R, the previous owner had just installed carbon fiber reeds, reed spacers, and also installed a bender clutch kit. What is the max RPM my sled should turn at full throttle. I road it for about 14 miles around the house and when I hammered it it would hit 9000.

8500 RPM is where you want to be. You are losing power at 9000.

I have the sheets from the kit he installed, I will do some research to see where i need to go to get it back to 8500. Guess the first thing I should do is check the condition of the belt.
