My srx jumps to 85-8600 stays there for a little bit then starts dropping to 83-8400 over the long run. I have 8dn-20 weights,4.5 grams in both holes, y-w-y primary spring, and green dot @70 in the secondary. It has 23/37 gears with 8 tooth drivers. Does that mean I need more weight in the upper hole and leave the tip where it is? I'm guessing a spring change would not be the right thing since it drops where it is supposed to be but I don't know. I think it drops rpm when the track stops spinning.
Forgot to add its a 99
Also forgot to add its a Pioneer 51/43 helix

Id leave it alone... you may get some over rev when you nail it but if it settles in at speed I would say you are close.

Thanks, I actually tried a www spring just to see what would happen and actually the rpms are about the same but it seems to settle to about 83-8400 quicker. The sled seems noticeably faster since the swap.
