Just rebuilt my 2000 SRX700 and need the air box filter on top (OEM preferred but NBD). My current one disintegrated in my hands while putting it back together... yay! My local dealership says they are on back order and I want to be able to ride here in Tooleedoo while we still have coverage. Any assistance is appreciated.

Has anyone made one from scratch? I wouldn't think that it would be a big deal. What material?

Just use a couple layers of furnace - ac filter material you can buy at any hardware store.

I just bought one about a month ago and it cost like $12. I ordered it through a snowmobile repair shop here where I live. That's a lot of messing around for a $12 or so filter. PM me if you would like their info.
