Reverse chaincase

Will the reverse chaincase work/fit from a 99 vmax 600 triple onto a 97 vmax 700 triple?? If I have to remove my triple pipes to do it then forget it.

Depending on which set of triple pipes it may/may not fit but the reverse is compatible. Change the chain gears as a set, if you need to mix and match buy a new top gear for changing the ratio. I'll follow up with the reverse chaincase pictorial later.

If you had clearance Issues I would say you could probably trim the ears that the battery box sits on if you don't have electric start and don't plan on every wanting it.

Nice pictorial backwoods.....Does anyone know the stock gearing on 97 sx700 and 99 600 deluxe reverse? Are the gears/chain between a reverse/regular chaincase compatible? and is there a chart for gear/chain link sizes?
