Seems my old mans 1996 ET410II has develop a problem where it won,t idle after its been warmed up(Just dies).Changed the fuel, installed new plugs with no luck.Got a new set of plug caps coming but I wonder if its the coil(spark is weak, blue color?).Ran this sled a few days ago breaking trail(Finally got snow, and snowing like a SOB now) where it ran fine but if I let it idle it would die out(and have to wait an hour before it would start again).Any suggestions(TORS,stator, etc)

fuel filter? fuel pump? I did both of those last year on mine and it fixed the stupid idle I was having at the time.

Well I disconnect the TORS,no dice. Then cleaned under the plugs caps,no luck. Then I took a heat gun(on low setting)and heated the fuel pump a little. After that I mange to get it going but still the same.Well I said F**G it and I took the sled for a 10minute run giving it big shots of gas(Building up heat under the bonnet). After I can back I let it idle down, giving it little shots of gas to keep it on life support. Then all of a sudden it give a burp, and the idling return to normal.Even started up fine after I shut it of.Lesson learned never leave a sled outside on a frosty night with only a 1/2 tank of fuel.Seems these carbs like a lot of heat in order to work properly.

Own a 92 et410 myself. Extended warmups for mine too, especially -20 or colder.
