Putting a Viper / SRX motor in a Mountain Max Chasis

Has anyone swapped in a Viper or SRX motor into a Mountain Max / SX Chasis. What are the major hurdles with doing a swap of this kind? Will Viper Single pipe fit under cowl? SRX triples fit under Cowl? Electronics do we need different harness? Etc any help would be appreciated. Son had 700 grenade and we are exploring options to keep it running. Trying to keep it cheap. Just want to know what parts are best to look for and how much extra work would be needed for a different swap.

Search for Brauten here. It is much less hassle to just buy another sx 700 motor.

ok update, It wasn't motor that let go. The basket on end of mag side that recoil hooks to disintergrated. looks like bolts backed out of basket with vibration basket loosed and destroyed itself taking large pieces of the base with it. So need base for 700 redhead and recoil parts as well.
