I have an M-10 that I put 136 extensions on and it worked great. Now I put on a new track so I went to 144 ice ripper xt 8 tooth drivers not extros. I burned up a set of slides in the first 500 miles. Tracks USA said I had the tension too tight it should be about 2 3/4 - 3" of sag. I started @ 3 and it slipped under heavy accel. I went to about 2 1/2 and no slip under load but in powder it would slip and bind the lugs against cooler protectors. Slides are taking a beating also now with only 145 miles on them showing wear already. What should I do? Team Fast wants to sell me a new skid. They say the 121 should not be stretched that far. Does anybody else have this set up? I know it may be odd. Not really a mountain rider just some off trail and a few hill climbs mostly on trail.
Thats a long way to stretch... I would run ice scratchers and try and break the hyfax in.

I have scratchers. I was running in Northern WI and upper MI lots of snow. Should I add more idlers?

Adding wheels to a few key areas would not hurt but it's strange because m10 usually don't world slides fast.
