Looking to change up my studs but unsure of the woody's mega bites. Looking for some reviews good/bad. Looking to get the 1.175's. I know I will have to run track tighter that's not an issue. Just looking to get some more bite on the Ice. I could run chisels but most of my riding is in the trails. Welcome any feed back. Thanks

When I did run studs, I had better luck w/ Accord Racing Warthogs.

Have any of them failed?

one out of 144 and I hate to admit it I abused my MXZ. Grass drags. I wish I had the pic of me standing straight up and cat walking it down the grass. So probably my fault. Sold sled so I did not try the warranty. The yamaha gets the used but not miss treated. I learned from my younger days they last longer when you take care of them. Less issues as well. Would not hesitate with buying them for the trails. I just thought the mega bites with the flat shaft would help on the ice?

mega bites are great. i use the 1.175 in my 2002 srx. bad news they won,t hook up on ice. i mixed chisels with mine. worked way better. 3:16 (yammie tony)

i thought about doing that with my 1.080 studs. Mixing them. With the same size. That should help from bending them in the trail right.

Great trail studs, like yamigod said, not good for ice if your racing. On ice, I would say, better then nothing for just cruising around. Especially if you have 10000 of them like I do(This will be taken care of this summer).
