Does anyone know if there are any plastic ski's that will bolt on an Ovation? Bought the sled for the grandson but seems difficult to turn. Thanks

Adjust the front springs on the rear skid to the stiffest setting. This will take some pressure off the skis and be easier to steer. Check to make sure the front shock on the skid is still in decent shape, being that it is not rusted or leaking. Sometimes when the seals go on the shock, water will get inside and freeze the shock in a collapsed position. This will cause the front end of the sled to feel very heavy and hard to turn the bars.

I received an Ovation that had been sitting for several years, steering seemed quite stiff, so I oiled and greased wherever I thought it would help, and after it started getting regular use, it improved significantly.
