I snapped one of my transfer rods where it mounts on top. i have a new set from a parts sled of mine but i cannot get the wheels off to swap the rods! They do not have the expansion clips that hold the wheel to the bearing then heat and remove the bearing like earlier proaction setups. Is there a trick or some sort of way to remove these wheels without damaging them too much? Ive had terrible luck with this sled all winter , every ride something else breaks or something stupid. i just want one last ride before all the snow is gone. Thanks for the help in advance!

Use a block of wood and hammer. Hit the shaft on the side that you need to replace and it will push the shaft out of the wheel.
I was hopeful that someone else had a more elegant answer. Cause beating the axle out with a rubber mallet is how I have always done it.
