Yamahead

He was banned from this site for more than a few bad deals, late shipping, shipping wrong parts to wrong people or not sending parts at all and telling people to use "gift" when paying with Paypal. Last I heard any thing from him he was trying to sell all his power valve repair equipment. I had 10-12 great transactions with him that went great...then the last that took 7 weeks from the time he cashed my check for box of parts to show up via the mail. His real name is Richard Stahl and lived in Monticello Indiana if my memory serves me. He also had a Ebay store.....Mr.Powervalve I believe. Proceed with caution, should he rip you off site in no way shape or form will get involved as he is no longer a member.

When I buy on here, I use "send money to friends/family". Only bought a couple of things on here but were good buys, no problems. Lots of ppl in the classifieds have ebay stores. Funny, a yamaha part auction ends on ebay and the next day, its in the classifieds, I know of 2 for sure. Long time members but only 4 or 5 posts, probably all ads. Gotta be careful. When I get some motor work done on my sled from a member here, I will do the friend thing if paypal is used. Can't dispute it but its a trust thing. What happened to your power valves?

Sounds like we need another member to setup for repairing the power valves. How big is the demand for repairing power valves?

Jim

Seems like another member some what started repairing them. Seems like it was Mr.Viper but could be wrong. Their prices were a little higher than Yamaheads but if the quality is there and you don't get screwed I say well worth the extra cost. Seems like he/they only did the re-coating in batches and you may need to wait if valves need re-coated. Who ever it is they had a post recently that valves were ready but didn't have an address to send them to.
