Is yammabond the best sealer to use when assembling an srx case?

I used permatex grey. Says meant to seal case halves. 1000km so far no leaks, yamahabond or hondabond is whats recommended though.

I only use Yamabond or HondaBond. I have not tried anything else based on the advice of knowledgeable SRX/Viper engine builders.

I also use the permatex grey sealant and it's been holding my cases together for 3 or 4 years now.The problem I had was trying to get Yamabond,no dealers around here had any in stock and when I needed some sealant I didn't feel like waiting for them to order it.

X3 on the Permatex Motoseal (the grey stuff). Have used it with good results.

Threebond 1194 or yamabond 4 is discontinued. Threebond replaced by 1184. 1194 was removed from the market due to thw chemicals in it. Permatex motoseal is a very good alternative to the treebond 1194 and 1184. It more readily available as well. Just dont use any silicone based sealants like permatex ultra gray.
