bigger polaris idler wheels on 02 viper skid?? confused? ?

hello, I know this has been beat to death in this forum.. But I can't find the information I need when I searched. So I bought some bigger Polaris idler wheels with the 6205 2RS bearings and they don't mount with the Yamaha hardware tahts on the proaction skid. how are you guys bolting them on? I attached a picture of what I'm talking about with the wheel sitting on the Yamaha idler wheel mount. Thanks any info would be very helpful

I sent you a pm on this, now I see.Yep you need the plastic bushings from the old idlers to pop over each side of the idler which will then give you the right inside size for bolt to go through...

I also have 2 sets of 7.5" rear wheels that were used in the old SRX's in the 80's.The bearings are different then stock and you have to trim the spacers slightly to get them to fit properly.

here is a pic of the 7.5" SRX rear wheels

Now if you oversize all the skid wheels and add a marginal wheel kit up in front at the bend of the rails, your hyfax will last for many seasons.Seems like my hyfax hardly wears for many years now. Here is is pic of the marginal wheel kit also.
