Srx case vs. Viper case

Are the SRX and the Viper crankcase the same?

00-02 srx cases are the same as the viper cases.

OK good. then I'll keep the case from the Viper and start to build the killer SRX motor for project BLACK SRX. Tony: I know the Viper crank is lighter so should I use it vs. the stock SRX crank for hot trail sled? The one that came out of the Viper has 1 bad small inner main bearing so I might send it out to Northern if I decide to use it. I wanted to keep my present SRX motor intact and original and piece together a spare one.
