The boss seat I put on my Venture is great, but now I'm thinking about upgrading the skid. I've found a few 121 mono skids, but need a 136. Any problem using a 121 and extending the rails?

If memory serves me right they say extending the mono is a bad idea. I think it was weak rails and front arm. Better off to find a 136
An extended 121" is better than the stock 136" until 2010. The rear suspension arms are different and preclude using idler wheels in the position where most slider wear occurs, as well the rails are milled down more to provide clearance for the arms. 2010 style upper guide wheel mounts are needed.

I got the 121 mono, now I'm looking for a set of extensions. Gotta tear the skid down and freshen everything up.
We have finalized a set of mounting plates for the mono installs into the two stroke tunnels. Our plates locate themselves by matching up to existing holes in tunnel. No measuring required.

Sounds like a winner. How much for the plates?

why not get a 128 mono from a 4 stroke?
