First question, how many turns do I have the oil screw out? Sled seems to be going threw oil like crazy. It smokes a lot when I start it up so I'm assuming that means it's running to rich.
Second question, what were the distinctive differences between a 2002 and 2003 yamaha viper? Are the decals different?
Third question, what would be the best way to paint the tunnel? Something like the picture shown
Fourth question, does anybody have designs to make a warm up stand?
Thanks,

Oil screw? You mean fuel screws on the carb or oil cable adjustment? It is normal for them to smoke when cold, it is a 2 stroke after all!

I meant oil cable adjustment... Couldnt think of the proper name... it smokes for a good 10 minutes... my buddies barely smokes at all...

There is actually a bit of difference between a red 02 and red 03 viper. The 02 will have a smooth seat while the 03 has indented holes for grip on the seat. 03 vipers also came with softer shocks, 02 were stiff from what i've heard. The decals are way different between the two years also. I have a 03 viper and here is what the decals look like. The first picture is of a 02 viper while the others are my 03. So just from the seat and decals it's easy to tell the difference between the two years.
