i put 3 washers, 1 each behind the secondary belts. New belt installed.
runs great on bottom and mid. I am just wondering if what i did caused something in the secondary to bottom out or bind losing about 5 to 6 MPH.

those bolts do not touch once the sled starts moving, they are strictly a starting point for the belt to return to when the primary lets go.
Stupid question, but did you put the same kind of belt in the sled?

is the belt broke in? i put a new one on and was over revving till about 100km's on the belt, then it settled down.

You're still not answering what belt tom. What was on before what now. If you went from dn00 to dn01 there are differences

Tom, if your bottom out or bind, your rpm spike. You run out that last MPH on over rev.
IMO, Thats something you would feel and see with the tach
Also tends to roll the belt upside down.. not good
