I have a set of v-force 2 reeds in my srx and think they do make a difference increased throttle responce over stock, and some clame increased power but that i can't feel.V-force had a problem at first with there carbon fiber being to brittle i've had mine in for 6000km and no problems checked them at the start of the season and they looked like new.The boyesen's will be fiber glass, witch the stock ones are fiber glass too so i wouldn't expect any inprovement over stock with them unless yours are wore out

My understanding is Reeds do help most in modded motors. Typically, the stocks are best suited for stock as that is the way the machines are tried and true. I've added Boyesen Rad Valve reed system not to be confused with just the reeds... and they definately have improved the throttle response on my triple piped viper. It's like night and day...the throttle is very touchy now..sweet!
