SRX isn't backshifting like it should

I just did the Mr viper clutch set up on my 2000 srx, www primary, green secondary, 8dn 20's 4.5 each hole, 51/45 helix set at 80. The sled is all stock as far as I know, besides the viper crank. If I hammer it from a dead stop it goes really good as long as I stay on the throttle, let off the throttle for a second or two and get back on it, it just doesn't have much, doesn't seem to be back shifting right. What can I do to get a better backshift?
 
with the green at 80 it should backshift, whats the tach say when your having your issue? without knowing the rpm hard to help if its a clutching problem because you dont know where its at.

the white/white/white spring lugs the engine more with a faster shift out, if you want quicker response use your stock y/w/y primary spring,but agin without knowing any rpm information, its a guessing game........
 
Some items that can create poor backshift:
-worn/sticking secondary bushing
-worn secondary buttons
-incorrect clutch centre to centre measurement
 
I'll have to take it out for another ride tomorrow to see what exactly the rpms are at when it's acting up. It was actually worse yesterday, I'd take it out and try and open it up, it would go up to 8000rpm then drop to 7000 and be really boggy, almost felt like TORS was kicking in. I thought maybe it was an electrical problem so I bypassed TORS and put on a set of new plug caps, that didn't help, then I tried another CDI box and it got alot better. I can get it up to over 8000rpm and it doesnt drop back down and bog now. The sled really pulls nice and hard down the straights but when I let off and get back on it when going through a turn she's just a dog.

whens the last time the powervalves were removed and cleaned and checked for a pull thru?

honestly from that description its not clutch related....gonna have to do some checks in stages to find the issue.

your rpm needs to be 8500, not 8000...............

check it and report back.
 
Checked the valves and they look fine. I'm almost wondering if it might be my stator going bad, my thumb and hand warmers aren't working like they should either, on high, they should get nice and hot but they just barely get warm, maybe stator isn't putting out enough power? I'll check the voltage on that sometime today.
