I'm still working on getting my mtn viper dialed in but when I do could I climb with my buddies 07 xrs 800 151? His sled is stock with a can. Thanks in advance!
 
is your sled a 144 or a 151? Are you piped? if not the power to weight ratio is pushing towards the 800 xrs, but even if you do get beat by him, tow him home at the end of the race when something on his engine fails. ;)!
 
Them 07 ptec 800s are a blown bottom end waiting to happen. Everyone i know thats had one had problems after a few seasons.
 
I say add pipes. Slimmer higher seat. Raised bars. Running boards. More track. Plus strip everything off that aint needed to drop a few pounds
 
I bought a set of pipes, but after reading about lowering the needle clip I'm not sure about doing it. I took the top off the carbs and it is like nothing I've ever seen. Anyone have a video link of how to do it? I've read the articles in the tech section but I'm more of a show me how to do it then a tech guy.
