Trying to make 08 nytro skis fit a 2000 sxr 700

Just wondering if anybody has taken off stock 2000 Yamaha sxr 700 skis and out on 2008 Yamaha nytro skis on. I took a ski off and found out bolts don't work and nytro ski sits lower in than stock. Just wondering if anybody has done this and if anything is gained out of doing it. Thanks

Should work

I have nytro skis on my mountain max. Unsure of the year though. The skis are way better in powder, night and day. I used the bolts and shank from the nitro. I had to get spacers for the saddle. I offset the saddle to help with cornering. Post pictures and we can walk you through it.

you need the hardware from the plastic ski and yes, the sled will sit lower. not much you can do about that except swap your trailing arms out for viper or newer venture arms and you will need the taller spindles and steering arms as well.

if you dont ride deep snow, the lower front wont affect you much if you adjust the rear skid to compensate.

I weigh 100 lbs. What or where should I set things to in rear skid? I got 08 nytro skis on and all good.

100 lbs!? Are you 13? Drop everything you are doing and go eat for gods sake! LOL!!! there is a sticky about setting up your skid. Grab a friend and go thru that. It might be hard to get a suspension set up that light. Is this machine stock?
