Oil Level Light

Oil indicator light stays on all the time. SXR manual start installed new unit, same results. Looked for fuse box doesn't seem to be one? Suspect must be the wire to a positive connection, again where, CDI Box maybe?

You installed a new oil tank pick up? Did you unplug it and does the light stay on?
 
Unplugged, sender light not on. At first thought bad wiring, but the fact light comes on and stays on indicates it's getting power. Makes me suspicious of sender. Will clip lead at junction and do a bypass there with curren from other soarce.
