96 Vmax 600 hitting “Rev limiter”

Have a 96 Vmax 600 XT hitting like a rev limiter at 5500 rpm, replaced crank seals, coil, cdi, plugs and wires, secondary buttons. Had secondary gone over and all was fine. Have a Polaris Primary on the way. Looking to see what the problem for the rev limiter would be, also sled seems to be only wanting to go to over 80 kms and rev high.

No rev limiter in these sleds. Sounds like maybe torrs kicking in, Have you tried to bypass this yet?

Oh I know haha, just posting what it sounds like, this has happened since I broke the thumb throttle off the handle bars, bypassing tors is just connecting the wires together? Tried that and no difference

Torrs kicking in makes sense seeing you messed up throttle. Are you connecting harness end together and carb ends together? Both sets have to be connected for bypass to work.
