Found a good deal on a 2006 monoshock skid, was wondering if I put this thing in my 97 vmax if itll be a rack and the front end will sit too low for the back? And also if it's even worth it. Skid is $375 with like 1100 miles on it

I put a 128 mono in a 2002 viper. It’s awesome!! Should have come with it that way

This is just a 121, but my concern is a viper's front end sits higher than my vmax doesnt it? And will this skid effect that negatively
The mono shock came out of what? 97 SX never came with a MONO shock was it converted before?
im guessing a rx1/apex, as newer viper's are 128"
you might have to pull the limiter up one hole and set the transfer rod on the middle. It sits in pretty nice and doesn't seem to be a problem with the Viper front.
Also, your ski selection could raise the front, up to a 1 1/2”

Right now my 97 sx has a stock skid in it. I'm pretty sure the mono shock I'm looking at is from an 06 venture. I have plastic skis but they dont raise my front at all. Im just worried if I buy this skid I'll need to also convert the front end to a viper or XTC front end.
Newer skis, like the ones from an apex or sr viper, will raise the front.

Will it be enough to balance with the rear? In your opinion
Yes, i have a xtc, installed apex skis on the front, now front is too high.
