Stock heated grips VS aftermarket

My stock Yamaha heated grip on left side has bitten the bullet. Lost heat on them other day and tested continuity and one has none. Should I replace with stock or any other manufacturers anyone would recommend. I see hot grips made the Yamaha ones? I live in Canada so would prefer to order from here as duty can be costly. Have not looked at Royal yet figured I'd ask here for advice.

The stock Yamaha ones we’re always good to me. The 2 stoke heaters were always hot. Never used aftermarket.

I put new Grips on my 2002 Viper a few years ago, but they still act stupid and don't always get hot. Anyone have meter values I could check to trouble shoot?
