Does anyone know what could be causing a bog on a 1999 vamx 700sx?

Did u clean the carbs?
Can you be more specific? Off the line? While cruising? What RPM areas?
I would look to clutches first.

is primary clutch clean? how old is the spring in it?
Then check belt height in secondary. If using the 8DN belt normally the cogs are about 1mm above sheaves.right off the line. It’s fine when cruising
Or as high as possible without belt squealing or machine creeping.
You could also use a spring in primary with higher engagement, or shim the stock one.
