I am still rocking the steel skis on an Ovation and Phazer for kids and want to switch them out with plastic skis. Google is all over the place with what skis might fit. If I go to a salvage yard what type of skis could I pick up to fit on these sleds?
You can also use the plastic Yamaha skis from Apex, but you would need to remove some plastic in the saddle and use the rubber from the older ski.

Thanks for the reply. I found a set of Vipers on EBay that I will have to give it a try.
here is what i did on my 97 et410 witch is the same tss as the 2 sleds you posted. still using the same set at this time and have only replaced the carbides/wear bars.
pretty much any aftermrket ski that will fit on a procross artic cat will work as well.
as the sx viper skis are obsolete and I bent my saddles on the set I had I grabbed a spare tss strut and went to local dealer to try it on a set of take off sr viper skis. with rubbers removed the bolt lined up with clearance underneath to spare. took some minor mods but bolted right up. here is a list of how I did it.
all parts where purchased and modded to fit an 1997 et410.
parts list
2 sr viper skis (I used non tuner skis)
2 sx viper spindle sleeves 90387-1012h
2 apex mtx spacer bushings 90387-16013
2 sr viper ski bolts 8jp-ra193-00
2 sr viper nuts...

How did you cut your square hole so neatly? All I have is a grinder and jig saw. Yours look great.
