Its bone stock but all 3 plugs look wet. When i open it up its fineCould this simply be an issue with the factory tune being rich in that spot? Because what you describe is something mine has always done and I've owned it since 2000 miles. Very light throttle, around 6500 RPM and it sounds off. Above and below just fine. I figured the pilots were a little bigger than necessary to give some margin, IIRC the timing is fairly aggressive right about there.
I found 2, but not the one for the pto side.He is right about the main nozzles. Had the same thing on a 500 vmax. Perked right up and got much better mpg once I changed them
thanks very much for this thread .I am having the same problem with my venture 600 with 10,000 mi on it and have been trying to get to the bottom of the midrange bog problem. Ill try replacing these nozzles and see what happens next winter
