asphalt billet track rollers

I have billet aluminum asphalt rollers for sale, these rollers apply force to the entire inside of the track are for more traction and better track wear patterns. They have 2 bearings and are the same as 6 wheels on 1 axle. They have replaceable bearings, they come complete ready to install with all hardware. Selling for $550 set

a typical 121-128" tracked sled will use 4 of these axles, the price is per set of 4.

email me at :dpizor@hotmail.com, thanx

April 23, 2006
Marion, SD
Thundervalley Drag Way

The first two passes only slick cars were allowed to run and I got in on some decent traction. The day before they had 60+ sport compact cars show up so there was no rubber down on the track to speak of.

The sled is a 2006 Apex ER with reverse still hooked up and 103 miles on it.

MPH: 99.663
ET: 11.138
MPH: 118.756

Next weekend I will make some adjustments to the rear skid. I simply had the rear shock set too stiff for the traction available and didn't want to make any adjustments at the time at the track. The track is starting to break in now and show some decent wear patterns. Hopefully I can knock some more time off next weekend.

Another beautiful day at ESTA today. Temps in the 70's and sunny. Traction is starting to come around but I'm still having issues getting off the line. Finally got my last 2 license runs in today. Last night I changed to a 25 top gear and that helped out a lot.

run 1:
1.50 60' - 6.36 1/8mi @ 112.80 - 9.94 1/4mi @ 135.71

run 2: (license run, but spun bad going after the street cars)
1.59 60' - 6.49 1/8mi @ 112.79 - 10.07 1/4mi @ 135.93

run 3: changed to a shallower start angle on the helix
1.48 60' - 6.30 1/8mi @ 113.34 - 9.87 1/4mi @ 135.95

run 4: (license run)
1.53 60' - 6.25 1/8mi @ 115.16 - 9.78 1/4mi @ 137.55

run 5: changed to a stock yamaha 47* helix; let off at half track
1.44 60' - 6.16 1/8mi @ 114.54 - 10.19 1/4mi @ 103.17

run 6: (license run)
1.46 60' - 6.21 1/8mi @ 114.23 - 9.78 1/4mi @ 135.97

Eliminations round 1: dialed a 10.01 since my license paperwork isn't in yet so my times were off also. Won round 1 by .0094.
Eliminations round 2: A little slow at the light, but a 1.44 60' which I was pleased with considering where I had been running. At least I'm going in the right direction. Lost the round running a 9.91.

Big M, Well Its About Time You Got The Sled In The 9s!!! I Guess The Less Helix Worked!! ;)!

Good night for racing here in NY, when we pulled in was 62deg and sunny… At the end of the night the track got slippery and dew started to settle in… Temp was 51deg when we pulled out at 10:30pm. Got out to NYIRP last night for the first time (test-n-tune) at the track, again I can not say enough about this track and how great they are, thanks again to the owner Bob… Running sled at 14.5lbs of boost... for now..

Here are the numbers with some notes… There was only 2-big cars, a couple of mod cars that were putting down the rubber, all the rest were imports, bikes, one other sled (he blew up), but did get a chance to see the new 06-Proline skid (nice…), and street cars.

Run1: Pulled hard to the left had to let off at the 500ft mark; made adjustments for the next run
1.49 60’ - 6.38 1/8 @106.05 - 10.02 ¼ @ 134.54

Run 2: Still pulled to the left, but not as bad had to let off at the 660ft mark, then got back into it; made some more adjustments for next run
1.54 60’ - 6.00 1/8 @ 110.9 - 9.612 ¼ @ 135.72

Run 3: Finally a solid run…
1.49 60’ - 5.97 1/8 @ 110.70 - 9.55 ¼ @ 136.03

Run 4: Adjusted some secondary belt deflection on this run, and made a small adjustment in the skid
1.47 60’ - 5.95 1/8 @ 119.33 - 9.38 ¼ @ 139.72

Run 5: Took some mid weight out of the ST’s… Now we are having some fun…!!!
1.48 60’ - 5.82 1/8 @ 121.73 - 9.17 ¼ @ 141.68

Run 6: Made this run to back up the first run, but forgot to record the rpm via. VDO Tach… my bad…
1.48 60’ - 5.83 1/8 @ 121.27 - 9.16 ¼ @ 142.67

Run 7: Made this run just for fun… But, I lined up in the in the worst spot of the night in that lane, spun bad… BUT…
1.50 60’ - 5.85 1/8 @ 123.49 - 9.13 ¼ @ 144.67
