Viper seat on sx

I am looking for a thread with pictures showing a viper seat install on an sx. Will a viper gas tank fit an sx?? What else is needed? I have searched and found nothing.

Viper seat slides right on the sx chassis. I put a Viper seat on my kids '00 Vmax. I think I had do change the wiring plug for the tail light. Thats about it.
 
So the seat fits, but what about exposed seat fasteners on the tank? I have an '04 Viper tank that I can put on, but will this cause issues with the gas gauge on the old pod style gauge? Or do I just deal with the exposed fasteners on the '98 XT tank?

Back to the gas gauge, can anyone point me in the right direction?

I unscrewed the fasters and filled the holes with black permatex. If it still bothers me im going to buy a tank bag to cover it up. I have a seat riser for the viper seat if you want to raise it up!!
 
i have a pic of my 97 sx with the viper seat but im not sure how to post pics...
 
I did this last year to my SX. I got a viper tank for $20, it fits exactly like the sx tank. I forgot to keep the old seat for the wiring plug, but a good friend (Nicko) had an old seat I was able steal the plug from. I like the viper seat alot better. I also built a seat wedge.
 
gonna bump here, did you end up putting the seat on? I would like to see some finished pictures, would love to do this to my SX thanks!!!!
