A Phazer chain case should bolt right in

I have not done it, but it has been told here that the Venture reverse chaincase will not directly bolt into a Phazer. Whether a Phazer case will bolt into a Venture, I do not know.
Why would you not want reverse?

I know this is an old thread but just in case someone needs the information.I have not done it, but it has been told here that the Venture reverse chaincase will not directly bolt into a Phazer. Whether a Phazer case will bolt into a Venture, I do not know.

I put a 1992 Venture reverse box in my 1992 Phazer. Like others have said, you'll need the Venture's jackshaft and its oil tank (fits a bit better than the OEM Phazer tank).
The Venture chaincase will bolt directly into a Phazer II but if memory serves, the Venture box had an extra mounting bolt or that one bolt didn't line up (I don't recall as it's been several years). I do remember drilling a hole in my Phazer tunnel for that bolt and welding a nut on the back side. You don't have to weld this nut but it beats having to hold it from the other side when tightening, etc.
I'm getting parts together to do another conversion so I may do a full write-up this time. These Phazers and Venture parts are cheap enough now to do this conversion so I'm guessing we'll see more of them. I LOVE MINE!
