On the sxs forums I've seen hp anywhere from the leaked photo at 112 to 130 from a "reliable" source told me. Hard for me to believe that Yamaha would go through all the trouble of design, and build of this and put a underpowered motor in it. I will reserve my thoughts till after the release.

It may only have 112HP at the crank but I bet it gets more power to the wheels better than the CVT competition(Longitude motor like Hondas ATVS/SXS,less turns,less powerloss).

Fully agree with lowslung!! You nailed it... this tranny will make up for a fair amount of HP!!!!
I heard it was 125 hp... I sure hope thats true.

looks like arctic cat is doing something like yamaha and mpi and is gona offer a 150hp speedworx supercharger kit from factory. Atleast the triple sounds the best...

Anyone seem to think that what we have seen of the design looks an awful lot like the new polaris turbos?? I hope im wrong! ! But I agree with the grumbling about 112hp sounding under powered compared to what yamaha should be more then capable of
