Help with a clutch for vmax 600

Im planning on buying a 94 phazer with a 96 vmax 600 motor in it. it needs a new clutch. Can I take a cluch off of other models if so what ones?
I might have an opportunity to get a Yamaha comet primary clutch off an exciter, can I use that

Ok I can get a clutch off a 91 exciter for $30. Can I put that on the 96 vmax 600 motor

It'll fit on that sled but it'll have to be set up right, weights, spring and rollers. Whats wrong with the clutch you have?

Yep, the weights, rollers and springs are different between the Exciter and vmax. You may end up with over reving because the Exciter weights are quite a bit lighter.

Got a quick question my buddy order 88r-17624-00-00 I.D. 8mm instead of 8cr-17624-10 I.D. 9mm for his 600 what's the difference between the two? He assumes the will work the same both being 17624.
