So there is a grass drag coming up here in northern Illinois and I'm thinking of entering. I've never even been to a grass drag let alone raced in one. I've drag races cars for a number of years so I know how to do that. So. Where do I begin? I'm really looking forward to doing this. I would enter the stock 440 class. Anything major that needs to be done? Jet the carbs for the weather??

hey, hows that vmax 4 running. this will be cool you grass racing that exciter. for sure you have to change jetting some, maybe add some studs, possibley get engagement up slightly and bring a leaf blower or a fan with ya for cooling this sled after every run. also make a spray bottle of soap and water for slides. 3:16x (yammie tony)

Where were ya. I saw 1 Exciter and 1first gen SRX together. The other Exciter was in the Burzinski camp.

No. I had a black ford duallie with a black double axle enclosed trailer. Just about at the racer entrance into the pits. I took fourth. Got my *** handed to me by all the srx's. Are you going to Jefferson ?
