Best clutch setup for my 01 700...I know I know

I've read a ton of stuff over past few days. I need full clutch setup on my sled. Aggressive trail riding and occasionally hit the radar runs. This isn't my daily ride but I want it fresh. Sled is all stock with 192 picks in the stock track. Leaning towards heelclickers but still need full list of what I need to purchase. Also what is stock gearing in this and should I gear it down a tooth or two when racing?
 
Clutching is as unique as each individual rider. I have tested a lot of set-ups and have settled on stock weights with 4.5 in inner and outer, white-yellow-white spring, 52/42 helix with stock spring at 60 deg. The sled is stock with a slightly deeper lug track. Racing is a different animal

Lots of very smart guys on this forum will chime in. Look for YAMMIEGOD TONY since he has extensive SRX experience.
 
I tried heel clickers and something went wrong. I blew the clutch up. I now run the 8 DN-20 with 4.5 inner and 5.5 outer. Stock gearing for now. Rear spring Green at 60-70 you said you have 192 pixs in the track. If they are trail studs you could cut down to 144 or 120. Save on the rotational mass. Also I would get a set of adjustable transfer rods for the rear. Helps with setup.
 
8dn20 4.5 4.5 w/ stock spring if I recall with green 54/46 is a hot trail setup 8bu10 is a good setup that Tony has out there. All depends on what your looking to do
 
these guys are all right on. you can,t mention a aggressive trail setup and racing together. its oil and water. a aggressive trail setup at the grass drags will get smoked buy a race setup in the same sled. 3:16X (yammie tony)
 
So I know what direction I'm going with the trail setup. However I have a spare primary and want a good race setup for 660ft grass
 
there are two weights for racing a srx. either h/c clickers or 8bu-00 weights. than comes getting the proper grams, spring, helix, and very important gearing/skid setup. 3:16x (yammie tony)
 
Try Heelclickers again and make sure nothing touches that shouldn't touch. After much reading on here and adapting to my needs I found a very good and very aggressive heelclicker set up.
