Viper Darting

Have any of you guys experienced darting with your Vipers ? Mine darts way too much. I have increased the ski pressure and have since backed it off some. It is at 1/2 way on the adjuster. I have checked the toe on the skis and there at 1/2 " or 13mm. The spec is 3 - 18 mm. Is there a easy fix I am not aware of ? :o|

we have rain on top of a foot of snow, mine is scary to drive, just like my rx1 was, very unpredictable,i put the limiters as far extended as possible and its better,i have c@a pro skis,my old sxr hads the same skis aand its fine, but it transfers way better, any ideas?
 
Mine was darting like crazy this weekend. A RX-1 that I was with swapped to woodies dual carbides and said his stopped darting. Don't knwo if that will work but when mine wear out I'll try them. I don't think it will stop it though. Mine would dart at over 60mph!

Waterfoul came over and I adjusted his sled to ride better and turn with his new ski's. It was 11:00 before I knew it. Sorry . :oops: What day will work best for you ?
 
I fixed the darting problem on the wife's viper with woody's Duallys. I've improved my viper quite abit by using the shims from Bergstrom skegs under the rubber ski mount. not perfect but much better. I think this is all covered on the tech pages too.
 
dooly's do take care of the darting, but they scrub a lot of top speed and they decrease the cornering ability a little bit if you dont shorten the limiters or increase the ski preload.
 
I may actually sell my dooly's. shoot me some offers and I will consider selling, they have maybe a few hundred northern NH miles on them, and that was last year, not this year :) very good shape :)
