Hey everyone, I've been waiting to post until I finally cleaned her up. 3 weeks ago I purchased a 04 blue viper ER. It has an M-10 and ohlins all the way around. Only 1560 miles on her. During my search I noticed that a lot of 04 vipers were red or black and red. Not so much blue. Are the blue 04's more rare?? I've been reading up on here about the viper and I'm learning a lot. You guys have helped me out with my 01 SRX And I know I will be in good hands!

You're correct in viper er's were mostly red and black. 02 blue vipers were the only year they had blue air intake shrouds. Possible the previous owner changed them. IMO the all blue cowls have a far better appearance
By air intake shrouds do you mean the part right under the windshield where the air gets sucked into the air filter? I purchased this machine from the 2nd owner. The story goes the originally owner had money and right away put the M10 and Hauck performance stuff on it. The man I bought it from purchased it because it was so clean and reverted it back to stock. So it is possible down the line somewhere they changed that
Yep- Only the 02s had those. Congrats on the sled. I stared at that one on CL quite a few times. If I didn't have money all tied up in getting the phazer for the lady I would have been all over that. Nice ride!
