I think I'm going to upgrade my track on my sx viper in a couple weeks but wanted to make a few things sure... first of all, the track I found is a studded 1.75 Camoplast backcountry. First question is can I run the studs if I keep my hest exchanger protectors on but go to 8 tooth drivers? Or would I have to remove the studs?? Second question is if mountain maxes have the same drive shafts that sx vipers have... I found a used drive shaft with 8 tooth drivers already mounted and would just purchase that as it is cheaper and I wouldn't even need a press to put the drives on.
Thanks,
Thanks,
A couple of bucks

cant help with your other concerns, but the mtn max and viper driveshafts are different. the drivers will interchange, but if you want a speedo, you cant use the mtn max or any other pro action driveshaft on your viper.
if the shaft is cheap enough, you can then press the drivers off one shaft to the other.

Could you explain 16d to me? Lol and is that surprising?
We are just joking...2" studs are loooong! 16d is a framing nail size.

Oh lol I see.... so does anyone know if there'd be enough room to run them with 8 tooths?
