It ohms good but I have read a lot of people say they are still bad I think I'm going to send it out and have it reworked a new one is 500 that's about what the sled is worth. I am not gonna spend that much.

Al's snowmobile Parts warehouse has good used stators their about $50-$75 usually. They also repair them pretty cheap.
Thanks Yamahamark I am going to do some checking around and see what I can come up with.

No problem.. Keep us posted..
I have had a hard time finding one for this particular sled a new one is 500. No way I am spending that much Custom rewind in Al does not have the specs on this one so he cant do it . looked at al's no luck called Ricks motorsports they will test and rewind if need be but they had to look it up they have never done one like this its really close to a lot of other ones but the pickup is wired separately. Anyway I sent it out today hopefully in a week or two will hear back. Will keep everyone updated.
Well just to let everyone know I sent out the stator a couple of weeks ago to Ricks Motorsports ended up costing $225 more than I wanted to spend. Got some decent weather sun started putting it back together and today before I went to work I thought I would pull it a couple of times and I have good spark now so that was definitely the problem. Thanks to everyone for there help does anyone have used skis that will fit a 1996 -97 venture 480 has to be 2 5/8 wide where the bolt goes through at the knuckle I picked up some v max skis that looked identical but they are 3 5/8 wide at the knuckle so they wont work if anyone needs some let me know. Thanks
