My 97 and 98 SX700 have the prefilter and airbox cages decomposing. Not sure if there is an alternative other than OEM replacement even if that is a possibility. Anybody else run into this?

I used a humidifier filter to replace mine, just cut to fit and glue on. You can still get them new also.

It doesnt do anything but keep snow out of box. A used pair of panty hose works just fine.
