#2 in the diagram....how does this come out? Drill it out? Speedo key is broken off inside...can't get it out.

Best way ive heard and done myself is to take a bit and drill a small pilot hole into center of insert. Then put a self tapping screw into end. Then use a slide hammer with a claw end or vice grip adapter to get a hold of screw end and tap out. Found it only works with slide hammer. I tried many different ways to hold onto screw and pull out without luck. Local snowmobile shop let us borrow a slide hammer and came right out.

Go the piece out! Used a dent puller slide hammer with a self tapper, worked like a charm! Thanks guys!
