They may have loctite on they, try heating them up, that will soften the loctite.

Use a good quality allen wrench.

I stripped the bolts, any ideas on how to get then out?! Thought about welding a hex head bit in the stripped out hole and putting a socket and impact on the bit. Let me know what you think would work!

If you can weld onto it the heat alone will loosen it.

Do you have an impact driver? Cut a slot in the head with a dremel and use an impact driver to turn them out.

X2. They are cheap enough at your local big box lumber place if you dont have one.

I had one I couldn't get loose on the flywheel and I welded a nut on it and it came right out. If you weld on it make sure you do not ground off the crank so the current doesn't go through the bearings.

I pounded a socket style torx bit in when I stripped one. Obviously jus t slightly bigger then then would fit easily.
If they are the same style stator bolts as on my Yamaha motorcycle, they are Torx and not allen head. I used a heat gun before removing.

Those are a major pain to get to. I cut it off with grinder.

i always use a impact driver to do torque and torx heads. you can take a dermal and slot the head, then use an impact driver with some heat.

i heard about using a rubber band to get out stripped bolts, i am gonna try that first then cut a notch with a dremmel and then if that doesnt work i will weld a bolt head onto it, does it matter if i just use a standard bolt to replace the pan head bolts?

Go to Sears an they have these sockets that are for striped nuts you hammer them on an put a Rachet on after an they come right off.

So what did you end up doing?

Would a little rust on my flywheel cause my sled to not have spark?

Ended up taking a chisel and hammer and beating the side of the bolt until it spun, then beat a torque head in it and spun it off with an impact! Tool a bought 2 hours start to finish

A little rust wouldn't make it have no spark at all. Did the kill switch test ok? If so does the headlight try to come on when you pull it over?

I haven't had time to test my kill switch yet, might have time tonight to check it. Is there a way to bypass it or can I just unplug it?
