Just bought two 2002 vipers. Went over them and cleaned carbs. After I wanted to bleed the cooling system , the manual says to elevate the rear and allow air to escape form the bleeder in the rear heat exchanger. Did that no problem. Next step lower the rear and remove bleeder at top of cyl head near carb heat knob. I cant get any coolant out this bleeder on either sled. I tried the carb heat knob in all positions on both sleds Ive even put my pressure tester on to force te coolant through. Still nothing. I ran the engine until the rear heat exchangers were hot and still nothing . Anyone else ever have this problem?

Don't worry about front. It never worked and it was a huge design failure for sure. Just do the back as you did and your fine. Fire up and make sure all exchangers ate warm. And for future no need to bleed coolant system after carb clean

yeah that little bit of air will be pushed out into the expansion bottle within a few heat cycles, dont worry about it.
