I have a 2000 SXR600 and was thinking of upgrading to a Viper. Does anybody have any advice or opinion on what model would be compareable.

You talking SX Viper or the new SR Viper. If the latter you're better off to go to Ty4stroke and post in the sr viper section. If the former then I can move this to the viper/srx section here

Just trying to get some input on which sled would be best for me. Do mostly trail riding on groomed trails and some trails that are not groomed.

I understand that. You said Viper. Are you asking about the old 2 stroke Viper from 02 to 05 or the new 4 stroke Viper from 14 to current?

The phazer RTX I own(2014)is a riot.Power is pretty close to your sxr600 and would still feel pretty light.Suspension set-up is key(mine corners like its on rails).Going on its third winter and I figure I would miss the big power of the warrior(still in my stable) but the playful nature and low end power makes up for it(84 mph on GPS).

Any Phazer (minus 2007) or Vector. Great gas mileage on either.
