Overheating !!


I found a used crank for 500$ and also another for 200$ but the end pressed in bearing is no good so I would have to find a bearing then get it pressed on at a shop. I also have an option to get it rebuilt from bent toys for 500$ Or more they were unsure of price. Can a used crank with 6000km be ok still ? What's the life span of a well maintained one ?
 
well over 30,000 km i would say. they key word here is "well maintained" ie fogged every summer and warmed up with good oil,how do you know the history of a used crank?
 
Well it's that time where I'll be rebuilding the engine In the next few days to come. Is there an adhesive or silicone that is recommended to mate the engine block together ?
