1992 Vmax 4 Scissor Arms

I realize that the 4 has needle bearings in the front suspension/steering scissor arms, but has anyone ever rebuilt them using bushings instead of the expensive needle bearings? I wondered if the O.D. of the bushings fit into the arms like the bearings do.

Other Yamaha TSS bushings will not work. You will have to source them or make them yourself and you will end up with a half assed job when you're done.

Buy the correct parts and do the job right. Will be cheaper in the long run and you will be happy with the results.
