if you search my posts I show how.
cliff notes
single pulse tach will work on any tripple with dual bulb ignition.
viper/vector/rx1 gauges all, though are wired differently.
you need to bypass the gauges temp sensor as the sled does this in the cdi. you can use an old temp sensor or just look in the book for the correct resistor size and run that wire through the resistor to ground. all other inputs work the same, oil, gas and warning light flashes from cdi
you need to attach a rotor to your drive shaft, or use a viper shaft
wire a ground and power to the pickup and gauge.
wire harness will work from viper or rx1, they use the same plug but are wired differently so get a diagram from your sled and the sled your gauge and harness are from.
for the pod, we use lexan(i own a glass shop) and cut to fit the dash shape plus the shape of the gauge up high to protect in a rollover. help with higher bars as well. Then just paint with satin paint and it blends in nice. even leaves room for other gauges or what have you.
have run these for years on a few sleds including my own. No issues. Nice to have an accurate tach if your clutching and an accurate to itself speedo you can tell if you have gained a mile per hour with a mod.
