I doubt the oil pump failed, but it could be a possibility. I have seen many, many 570 burn downs and only one was due to a bad pump. 80% were due to bad seals, more common on the mag side, the others were due to overheating, which will look like a failed oil pump, being the sides of the piston will be scuffed and damaged similar to an oil pump malfunction.
Anyway. Test the fuel pump by disconnecting the fuel lines from the carb and give it a pull. If it shoots gas out of the lines, it is good. Rarely do fuel pumps go bad. Sometimes if they have sat dry, they will need to be primed and will work fine after some fuel is pulled though it.
Throw some gas down the cylinders, hold the throttle open and see what happens.
