700 clutching and jetting help

Anybody have a good set up for clutching and jetting on a red head 700 with hauck/cpr pipes. They would be willing to share. Also has Reed spacers and peeled head gasket. Have heelclickers on self wouldn't mind using but don't have to. Any help for starting point or set up would Be appreciated. Manley looking for a good corner to corner cluching set up. Thanks

clutch it for 9000-9100 rpm

what helix do you have on hand?
 
Awsome. Thanks for the help mr viper sold most of my helix as I switched to 4-stroke this year. But ended up with the sx for cheap so just figured I'd put something together to play with the only helix I currently have laying around is a 51/43 But open to any options or suggestions. With weights or helix
 
Don. I forgot to mention the sled also came with Roller secondary machined into it (think its a Hauck one)If I can get something to work id use it. Otherwise I think I do have a stock secondary laying around i could put on it

well you have h/c and would need a smaller helix to use with those and a roller sec. the hauck roller sec is a good one for trail riding, they work well for on and off the gas type woods riding.

so what do you want to do with the sled and do you have any other weights for the primary?

with h/c's youd need a helix like 47,48 start and somewhere like 36-38 finish to work the best. The roller makes the helix act 3-4 degrees bigger because of the lack of friction on the ramps.
 
Would like to make it a hot trail sled per say. 0-90 as fast as I can get it there. Sometime down the road. I wouldn't mind making it a drag sled. The on off the gas doesn't really matter to me at this point of time. I would think I would rather just stick with a stock secondary. It might see the trails but not very offen. Used mainly to just mess around with buddies in fields or on the lake. I don't have but have access to 8ca,8ab. 8bu-00 and 8bu-10. My buddy has all of them kicking around at his shop. Only weights I currently have is the h/c. My future plans are to make it a 760. I have a 760 kit and 5 sets of Pistons. But the 760 kit I have was made out of a red head 600 cylinders. And the 600 cylinders do not have the triple exhaust ports. Idk if it would be worth it to do it. With these cylinders. As I would think there would be quit a bit of hp to be had if we're 700 cc cylinder based with the triple exhaust ports. So for now was just looking at geting it running to play with. And fig out what to do with the 760 kit this summer. Also one quick guestiom on that subject. Would the 760 kit benifit with boost ports in piston. Thanks
 
if you want 0-90 then put in the h/c's with red primary spring, use 4 grams heel weight, 4.3 mid hole and empty tip, run a 51/37,50/40, or 48/38 helix with button secondary with green dot spring at 60-70.

the 760 kit can be made to run fine, you can open up the main exhaust port to get the right flow from it, the triple ports in the 700 cylinders are so small your not really losing out on exh. time area, you can just make the main port make up for it. they will still need a lot of work on the transfer ports and the rear boost port. The pistons should be modded for boost ports in any red head engine.
 
Awsome thanks for help don. Wich rollers should I use. If I sent u measurements on the port heights would u be able to tell me if it was close or needed mor work. They are pretty worked over the main exhaust is huge and rear boost is opened up quite a bit also. I also would like to get boost ports in Pistons. Would that be something u would be interested in doing ??
