Are new OEM Red Head 700 crankshafts still readily available from Yamaha?Does Anyone know of any Red Head parts that have been discontinued or are all engine parts still available at this point?

Shows it here for the '03 MM ,but it's like $1200 US.
Hmm,the link I tried to attach didn't.If you look on Metric Parts site they still have it listed for up to the '03 MM.

I just called Midwest crank today, said he should be able to make my viper crank new for $400. not sure why you would go with a nos one

I'm assuming just bearings. With the caveat that he doesn't have my crank in front of him checking it over. Worth giving a call, very reputable guy and work

My crank is on its way home. All new bearings, all of them, and re assembled and shipped home. $480

I was not disappointed in the least. He apparently (from what I've been told) did many srx cranks back when they were recalled
